The Audi factory effort was bolstered by management from Joest Racing.  Joest has long been a partner to Porsche but their absence from racing this year meant the team had to form a new alliance to ensure they had top notch equipment to work with in an effort to help win another LeMans.  Audi fit the bill perfectly.  It didn't hurt to have Johannsen, Biela, (l-r) and Alboreto doing the driving.    Continue>>
